Golden Web Award Acceptance Speech
Wow, who would have thought I would walk home with this award. In fact, I not only won this once, but twice. Another little site I work on also picked up this award. Heck, I think everyone who applies for this one, can take it home, but that doesn't make it any less special.
I just want to thank the kind people out there who have visited my site and sent words of encouragement. I dedicate this award to those who still are involved in bands from the 80's who are still trying to make a living by the guitar, keyboards, and drums. You have taught all of us that you can never really quit. So to the guys in Bon Jovi, A-Ha, Rick Astley, Pet Shop Boys, and many other bands who have refused to give up when everything went alternative, we at www.ryancordell.com say thanks. You are an inspiration to us all.
