This was after we had poured the concrete. In order to do this we mixed in in a large mixer, then transported it by a bucket line to guy who dumped it out and smoothed it down.

A funny story about this photo. One of my leaders noticed the large "J.R." on the wall on the last day of work. Ealier, said leader had met the individual who was held the initials "J.R." So guess who got to do some resurfacing of those bricks to make sure it looked good for the home dedication?

So let this be a lesson, if you really want to leave a mark somewhere, never use your initials. They are a dead giveaway.
